Danny Clinkscale is an award winning broadcaster in many fields, and the author of “Leaving Cancer for the Circus”, launched to critical acclaim in 2015.

Known as the “voice of reason”, Mr. Clinkscale’s career has been spent at the pinnacle of sports broadcasting, where he has hosted programs of all varieties, and has also been a highly regarded play-by-play announcer on radio and television. His field reporting skills have been highlighted at the greatest sports events in the world, from Super Bowls and World Series, to Final Fours, and U.S. Opens in golf and tennis.

Danny is known for his thoughtful, cerebral, and sometimes offbeat commentary, laced with wry humor. His interests are hardly limited to sports, and he has often written and commented on film and music and much more.

Mr. Clinkscale is married to Jayne Siemens, president of Venice Communications, and is the proud father of two young ladies, Cassady and Kennedy. He lives in Shawnee, Kansas.
