A Wallflower at the Last Dance, Engaged More Elsewhere
A bit of Jordan fatigue has set in for me, while we get a growing sense of
anticipation of games to be played, perhaps soon. But not just anything
competitive gets the pulse going even these days.
Allegations, and A Schedule We Hope To Use
The weekly verbal joustings cover the ongoing
soap opera with the NCAA and KU, the NFL always making
news, and the Chiefs schedule, and other
normal detours.
Optimism Trying to Emerge, If Perhaps Too Soon
We still spend most of our sports time looking back, or dreaming up,
but we can look ahead to a Border War in football, and maybe getting closer
in the short term to real competitions, and games that count.
Making Time Count, and Not Just Passing It
Enjoying little pleasures on another weekend that didn’t seem like one, as sports
shrivels further. The Open Championship is out, the NFL grinds on, and a little shred
of hope for games to come out of South Korea.
