Jordan Documentary Exits as Sports Slowly Enter
NASCAR, Bundesliga soccer, and live golf were on the weekend
menu, just as the ultra-hyped “The Last Dance” came to a satisfying
conclusion. There are even some other sports nuggets to chuckle about.
A Wallflower at the Last Dance, Engaged More Elsewhere
A bit of Jordan fatigue has set in for me, while we get a growing sense of
anticipation of games to be played, perhaps soon. But not just anything
competitive gets the pulse going even these days.
Optimism Trying to Emerge, If Perhaps Too Soon
We still spend most of our sports time looking back, or dreaming up,
but we can look ahead to a Border War in football, and maybe getting closer
in the short term to real competitions, and games that count.
A Slight Respite From the Virtual
While still settling for Zoom cocktail parties, and viewing computer competitions, the Chiefs draft, and historical films both fictional and real, provide some valued substance.
